Electronic consent management project update January 17
The Health Care Authority (HCA) will be holding an update and listening session regarding the electronic consent management project on January 17 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. via Zoom.
Register for the Zoom webinar.
What is the electronic consent management project?
This project will define an electronic consent management solution that facilitates patient-authorized exchange of sensitive data. It will be scalable, secure, and sustainable to meet provider needs.
An initial solution will be deployed in 2023 to manage consents enabling substance use disorder data exchange. This will be followed by incremental build-out to function as a general consent solution for other types of consents in future project phases.
This important system will also serve as a foundational technology for other initiatives that HCA has underway. A project overview and current timelines will be provided at the webinar.
HCA also seeks input from the behavioral health community and other stakeholders to assist us in moving forward with this work to foster whole-person care.
Visit the electronic consent management webpage for more information and we hope to see you on January 17.
