Join us for the 2022 Medicaid Transformation Project Public Forum

On December 7, the Health Care Authority (HCA) will host a public forum on the Medicaid Transformation Project (MTP). During this year’s forum, we will:

  • Provide an overview of MTP and its initiatives
  • Share this year’s successes and challenges
  • Talk about the MTP renewal, called “MTP 2.0”
  • Give an update on MTP 2.0 and next steps
  • Give attendees a chance to ask questions and share comments

We will be recording the forum—so if you’re unable to attend—you can watch on our website after December 7.

What’s MTP?

HCA purchases health care for more than 2 million Washington residents through our Apple Health (Medicaid) program. MTP is Washington’s Section 1115 Medicaid demonstration waiver, which is an agreement between our state and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). MTP allows our state to develop innovative projects, activities, and services that improve Apple Health.

Where do I go for more information?
