We need your help! Update Apple Health client contact information

Current Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) clients will not lose their coverage during the Public Health Emergency (PHE) as long as they continue to meet residency, citizenship or immigration requirements, and do not request closure. Clients should continue to report changes, including changes to their household contact information.

To ensure your clients do not miss letters or notifications about their coverage, make sure their contact information is up to date in Washington Healthplanfinder or with Washington Connection. Learn more about the Apple Health and the PHE.

Why is updating client information important?

Updating client contact information ensures they will receive important notices about their coverage including renewal and eligibility review letters. This will reduce phone calls to Health Care Authority (HCA), Managed Care Organizations, and partner agencies.

HCA is requesting to prioritize contact information updates at every client interaction. Visit HCA Update my income or address (report a change) webpage to learn how to report changes for Apple Health coverage or Classic Medicaid.

How do I stay informed?

HCA will continue to share updates and resources about the PHE through GovDelivery. For more information on post-PHE activities view HCA External Guide to Washington Apple Health Post-PHE. For questions about the PHE contact AHEligCovid19@hca.wa.gov.

If you received this bulletin but are not currently subscribed, sign up to receive Apple Health (Medicaid) eligibility updates.

Please feel free to share this GovDelivery with others!
