Six states joined Washington for an in-depth discussion about FCS at this year’s National Academy for State Health Policy’s (NASHP) Health and Housing Institute – each in search of insight on the FCS network’s capacity-building efforts. Three FCS Supportive Housing providers took center stage to discuss their approaches to serving FCS enrollees: Pioneer Human Services, Full Life Care, and Coastal CAP. FCS Quality and Alignment Analyst Kimberly Castle and FCS Transition Assistance Program (TAP) manager Scott Tankersley joined these agencies to provide insight on how to build and sustain provider capacity across a network, generate effective community partnerships, and deliver comprehensive supportive housing and supported employment services, and more.
The FCS team at HCA/Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery would like to thank NASHP for spotlighting the FCS program, especially the important work each agency is doing to ensure individuals across Washington can access robust, reliable housing support services.
The Washington State Health Care Authority is initiating this Request for Application (RFA) to solicit Applications from organizations interested in participating on a project to increase the availability of Foundational Community Support (FCS) services linked to the evidence-based practice Individual Placement and Support (IPS), for Supported Employment (SE) or Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for Supportive Housing (SH) for adults receiving Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services. The awarded ASAs will develop and implement new SE or SH services as part of an FCS program across Washington State.
Join Foundational Community Supports for an informational webinar about this grant opportunity for providers who serve participants experiencing substance use disorder or co-occurring disorders.
