HCA awards contract for Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce Collaborative (IECMH-WC)

In December 2021, the Health Care Authority (HCA) issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) 2021HCA30 for the purpose of purchasing Infant– Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce Collaborative (IECMH-WC) Services. These services include building workforce knowledge and capacity of Apple Health (Medicaid) infant-early childhood mental health professionals and allied professionals, specifically in utilizing the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infants and Early Childhood (DC: 0 – 5™) through training and implementation support.

Following the competitive solicitation process, Washington Association for Infant Mental Health (WA AIMH), Washington’s statewide association for all professionals who support the development of children prenatally through age six, was the successful bidder and awarded the contract for the Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health Workforce Collaborative (IECMH-WC).
