Apple Health (Medicaid) Provider Alert

Attention home health providers:

The Health Care Authority (HCA) has revised the Home Health (Acute Care Services) Billing Guide, effective February 1, 2022.

What has changed?

HCA has removed social work services from the list of noncovered home health services. This reference was inadvertently missed when HCA updated this billing guide to include coverage for social worker visits for home health clients.
