Apple Health DC: 0 - 5™ Crosswalk Workgroup Kickoff event

2SHB1325 requires Apple Health mental health providers to use the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC:0-5™) to assess and diagnose children birth through age five.

Many clinicians use the DC:0-5 TM crosswalk as a reference guide to convert DC: 0 – 5™ diagnoses to associated diagnostic codes and diagnoses. The Health Care Authority (HCA) is in the process of developing a new crosswalk informed by Tribal and urban Indian health partner, clinician, stakeholder, and advocate feedback.

To complete this task, HCA will convene a community workgroup, launching in January 2022. Join HCA for the Apple Health DC:0-5™ Crosswalk Workgroup Kickoff to learn more about the workgroup and how to stay involved.

Apple Health DC:0-5™ Crosswalk Workgroup kickoff

On January 20, 2022 HCA will host a virtual kickoff event to launch the Apple Health DC:0-5™ Crosswalk workgroup. This event is available to Apple Health mental health clinicians, allied professionals, and stakeholders. Participants will learn more about the workgroup process, selected workgroup members, and resources on the implementation of Apple Health polices resulting from 2SHB1325.
