Language access providers must provide proof of full vaccination

In response to the Public Health Emergency, HCA’s interpreter services team has amended their contract with Universal Language to add requirements for the Covid-19 vaccine. This change requires all language access providers who are accepting HCA, DCYF, and DSHS jobs through our contract to provide proof of full vaccination by October 18th, 2021. If proof of vaccination is not received, language access providers will be unable to accept HCA, DCYF, or DSHS jobs. HCA, DCYF, and DSHS is working to limit the risk the pandemic may have on Washington Apple Health providers and clients.

Provider reminder

If you are a requesting provider through the Universal contract, please make sure to add any additional facility requirements for language access providers in the notes section on the request form. This will ensure that interpreters are prepared and well-informed on facility policies when accepting jobs.
