Health Care Cost Transparency Board to meet July 19

On Monday, July 19, the Health Care Cost Transparency Board (HCCTB) will meet on Zoom. During this meeting, the HCCTB will discuss:

  • Preliminary recommendations from their June meeting.
  • The cost benchmark and total health care expenditure methodologies feedback from the Advisory Committee of Health Care Providers and Carriers.
  • Benchmark value options, including a phasedown approach where the benchmark decreases in years 2022 and 2023.
  • When (in the future) to revisit and reevaluate the benchmark methodology.

The board will also hear public comments and learn about Health Care Authority’s research on sources of coverage.
