PBMs: DPT data submission guide and templates updated and posted

The Health Care Authority (HCA) is notifying you of important updates to the Drug Price Transparency (DPT) reporting timeline which directly affect your organization.

HCA notified you February 19 of a delay in the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) reporting timeline. We have worked to resolve any issues and update the data submission guide and associated templates based on your feedback.

Data submission guide and templates updated

We have updated the PBM data submission guide and submission templates, as well as included a summary of changes. These resources are posted on the DPT webpage for download.

Next steps

PBMs have until April 29, 2021 to review the submission guide and submit any feedback for review. HCA will then review the feedback and finalize the data submission guide.

Your DPT data submission will be due no later than May 31, 2021.

If you believe you are exempt from the reporting requirement

All PBMs are required to submit data. If you believe you are not required to report, please email HCA with a detailed explanation.
