Clinical STD update for providers
The Heath Care Authority is sending you this mini-series notification on behalf of our partners at the University of Washington and the Washington State Department of Health.
What is happening?
The Clinical STD Update mini-series is a two 1/2-day didactic series which provides registered participants with training in the most recent advancements in epidemiology, diagnosis, and management of viral and bacterial STDs. CME/CNE is offered for this class.
Where: online via ZOOM When: October 28 and 29, 2020 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Pacific) Cost: $75

Pre-enrollment by October 26th is required. Participants are expected to attend both days.
What is covered?
- CDC STD Treatment Guidelines – updates/highlights
- Syphilis: Epidemiology and Clinical Presentations
- Syphilis: Treatment
- Update on Chlamydia
- Taking a Sexual History
- Update on Gonorrhea
Course participants will learn how to:
- Describe the latest clinical and lab diagnostic and testing procedures for the infections covered.
- List the current recommended treatments, follow-up, and prevention messages for the infections covered.
