Trauma-Informed career services

Trauma and trauma induced disabilities (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) have been found to be extremely prevalent amongst persons with mental health conditions. Moreover, individual’s with PTSD and additional psychiatric disabilities have been observed to have worse employment outcomes, lower rates of competitive work, fewer hours worked, and fewer wages earned than those without PTSD.

In this session, we will provide an overview of trauma and how to begin incorporating Trauma Informed Career Services into your daily practice.

The objectives of this webinar are to:

Define trauma
Identify trauma responses
Define Trauma-Informed Care
Review how to infuse Trauma-Informed Care into career services
