RI International announces new Evaluation and Treatment Center
RI International will hold an information session about a new, 16-bed evaluation and treatment facility coming to Olympia in late 2020.
Governor Inslee’s 2019–21 operating and capital budgets provides new financial resources to reshape how and where we treat people with acute mental illness. The investment will increase community treatment capacity. By increasing community treatment capacity individuals will avoid state hospitals and will instead be treated in the community.
RI International (RI) currently operates the Evaluation and Treatment Center (E&T) in Pierce County and plans to add a facility in King County. RI will open a 16-bed E&T facility in Olympia in late 2020.
The Olympia facility will be staffed by a multidisciplinary team, creating nearly 40 job opportunities.
