Public comment for HCA’s proposed primary care model extended to August 7

We invite you to provide public comment on the proposed Multi-payer Primary Care Transformation Model. The model was developed in collaboration with Washington State payers (health care plans) and primary care providers during the last year.

If you would like to participate, please read about the proposed model and then complete the survey. The public comment period ends on Friday, August 7, 2020.

What’s this model about?

Primary care is the foundation of our health care system—it is essential to better health outcomes, lower costs, and healthier families and communities. The Multi-payer Primary Care Transformation Model will serve as a framework that helps strengthen primary care through multi-payer payment reform and care delivery transformation.

The purpose of the model is to create better health and better care for patients, smarter spending, and improved clinical experience for providers.

Who should provide public comment?

This invitation is open to anyone who would like to share feedback. We encourage health care providers; managed care organizations and commercial health plans; hospitals and health systems; medical associations; Tribes; Accountable Communities of Health; and the public to provide input.

Your feedback is important! It will help HCA and our partners to further develop this model, and improve the health and health care delivery for Washington residents.
