Learn about a mobile platform for COVID-19 response
Learn more about a new mobile electronic health records (EHR) platform for COVID-19 response. This will enable patient screening and triage outside of a typical health care setting using Epic Systems’ and OCHIN technology.
How does it work?
Providers
Providers can use the platform to:
- Perform intake, screening, and testing for COVID-19
- Document symptoms and vitals using the provided COVID-19 template
- Facilitate patient care across multiple sites, utilizing technology that can be installed on a range of devices
Patients
Using a computer or smart device, patients can use a link from participating providers to:
- Complete a symptom checker to determine whether or not they should receive testing
- Select a testing location
- Enter the time they plan to arrive and their contact information
- Get a testing appointment
When will this be available?
We expect this to be available in April. Once live, the platform will be available on HCA’s mobile app for COVID-19 response page. Stay tuned!
