Apple Health (Medicaid) Provider Alert
The Health Care Authority (HCA) revised the Physician-Related Services/Health Care Professional Services Billing Guide, dated February 1, 2020.
What has changed?
HCA:
- Changed references to medication assistance treatment (MAT) to medication for opioid use disorder to reflect the change in the program name.
- Added new covered procedure code, CPT® code S2068, to the table under the Breast removal and breast reconstruction section.
- Revised the Early pregnancy loss and abortion services—Medical abortions section to include information about billing for HCPCS code S0199.
