Important SEBB Program messages: dependent files, eligibility notification letters

We have discovered an error that occurs when dependent files are uploaded into SEBB My Account. We anticipate the issue will be resolved in the update to SEBB My Account that will run in the evening on Thursday, Sept. 12. Please hold your dependent files for loading until the morning of Friday, Sept. 13, when the issue will be resolved.

Eligibility notification letters available

After you input your employee eligibility data in SEBB My Account, you will need to notify your employees of their eligibility (or ineligibility) for SEBB benefits no later than October 15.

We’ve heard your feedback, and are providing three template letters to make it easier for you to provide notice to your employees for the SEBB Program’s initial open enrollment. These Word documents can be used with a mail merge to allow you to prepare several at one time. Again, this is transitional relief for use through October 15.

Employee is not eligible for 2019-2020 school year letter
Employee is not eligible for 2019-2020 school year letter – This version allows you to fill in the reasons an employee is not eligible, although they met eligibility requirements during the previous two school years.
