ProviderOne update: enrollment screens will change

Health Care Authority (HCA) is updating ProviderOne as part of regular maintenance. On September 22, 2018 you will notice changes in the system.

What is the change?

The changes affect the ProviderOne enrollment applications and modifications screens used by providers.

How does this affect my work?

The process basically remains the same. There are just two extra fields on the Basic Information screen. A field may be grayed out if it does not apply.

  • Billing Type: provider must indicate if they are a billing or nonbilling provider.
  • Available Agencies: provider must indicate whether they provide services for HCA, Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), or the Department of Corrections (DOC). Provider may select multiple agencies if applicable.

Will there be more information?

Yes. HCA has posted an announcement about the change which will be kept current with new information as we get closer to the implementation date of this change.
