Apple Health Preferred Drug Lists (PDL)

Effective for claims with dates of service on and after July 1, 2018 Washington Apple Health (Medicaid), administered by the Health Care Authority, has updated the Apple Health Preferred Drug List (PDL) and the Apple Health (Medicaid) Fee-For-Service Preferred Drug List.

The Apple Health Preferred Drug List (PDL) is a list that will be used by all agency-contracted all managed care plans and fee-for-service (FFS).

The Apple Health (Medicaid) Fee-For-Service Preferred Drug List includes drug classes from the Washington Preferred Drug List (PDL) and the Apple Health Preferred Drug List, as well as additional classes and restrictions that pertain only to Fee-For-Service Medicaid clients.
