Healthier Washington has created a Measurement Guide to
document how performance toward transformation targets will be measured throughout
the five-year Healthier Washington Medicaid Transformation.
Washington state, nine Accountable Communities of Health (ACHs)
and Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs) will be responsible for
demonstrating achievement of and improvement toward transformation targets.
Federal funding available under the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment
(DSRIP) program is dependent upon the successful achievement of these
transformation targets.
The public review period runs through February 28, 2018. Healthier
Washington is especially interested in comments identifying:
- Areas of
confusion
- The ease
or difficulty of navigating the document
- Topics or
themes that are not covered
Submit comments or questions to Healthier Washington Medicaid
Transformation at medicaidtransformation@hca.wa.gov.
The Healthier Washington Medicaid Transformation is a
partnership between the state and the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services (CMS). Medicaid Transformation was approved by CMS on January 9, 2017,
and lasts through December 31, 2021.
