Apple Health (Medicaid) Provider Alert

Effective for dates of service on and after July 1, 2017, the Washington State Legislature provided funding to increase the facility fee payment to birth centers to $1,742.00 (procedure code: 59409 with modifiers SU and 59).

The Health Care Authority has updated the ProviderOne System to reflect this new rate and published a revised fee schedule for Planned Home Births and Births in Birthing Centers.
