Apple Health (Medicaid) Provider Alert

Dear Inpatient Hospital Provider,

The Health Care Authority (agency) corrected an error in the instructions for identifying twins on a claim in the agency’s Inpatient Hospital Billing Instructions. Do not use SCI=A.

When billing for twins, enter twin identifying information in the Comments or Remarks area as follows:

“SCI=B, Twin A” for the first child; and
“SCI=B, Twin B” for the second child
