Apple Health: Requirement for servicing providers to be listed on claims

Apple Health (Medicaid): Provider Alert
As of July
1, 2014, the Healthcare Authority required that all dental servicing providers
be enrolled in the ProviderOne system and the servicing provider’s National
Provider Identifier (NPI) be listed on all claims billed by a group practice or
clinic.
Effective for dates
of service on and after July 1, 2017,
all dental claims without a servicing provider NPI will be denied.(Claims may be resubmitted according to
timely filing requirements under WAC 182-502-0150.)
