HRMS will be updated to reflect the General Wage Increase and other compensation changes resulting from the Collective Bargaining Agreements and Enacted Budgets effective 7/1/26. Automatic updates will be made by OFM by 7/1/26.
Agencies do not need to act on these items at this time. Additional communications with resources and actions needed will be sent in June and July.
General Wage Increase
This will be treated as it has in years past where OFM will automate as much as possible.
For indirectly valued employees, the salary schedules will be updated, which automatically updates the rate in the employee’s Basic pay (0008) record. Refer to the Basic Pay – View Indirectly Valued Pay Amounts user procedure for how to view previous amounts on an indirectly valued record. Non-WPEA salary schedules effective 7/1/26, will be in HRMS on 6/11/26. WPEA salary schedules will be in HRMS on 7/8/26.
For directly valued employees, OFM will send agencies a spreadsheet of impacted employees around the end of the first week of June. Agencies should review the list and provide OFM with personnel numbers that need to be added and/or removed by 6/22/26. OFM will then update the employees’ Basic Pay (0008) infotype records effective 7/1/26, with the general wage increases. OFM will email the final list of employees who had their records automatically updated and include a list of any that weren’t successfully updated that may require agency resolution.
Salary schedules effective 7/1/26, will be posted on the Salary Schedules General Wage Increase webpage no later than 6/8/26.

Targeted Job Classification Changes
For impacted agencies only, when possible, targeted Job Classification updates will create new planned compensation records for job classifications, positions, and new basic pay records for employees. OFM will send agencies a list of affected positions for validation. A list of job classifications impacted by targeted job classifications is attached.
