Our Next Guest Speaker for Our Annual AANHPI Celebration Meet Thanh V Tran
 Thanh V. Tran currently serves in DSHS’ Home & Community Living Administration as an equity professional in the role of Strategic Engagement and Access Administrator. He is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and one of the inaugural Co‑Chairs of the HAPPEN Business Resource Group.
Over his 10 years in state service, Thanh has contributed his expertise across a wide range of roles, including public benefits specialist, job coach, program manager, PEAR consultant, and Community Engagement & Belonging Administrator. He has also served as a member of the Attorney General’s Anti‑Hate Hotline Advisory Workgroup. In each of these positions, he has provided workforce coaching, strategic planning, and leadership consultation to help embed equity and belonging principles into agency culture.
Outside of work, Thanh enjoys creating memories with his wife, Samantha, and their two children, Gemmalyn and Kamden. His hobbies include photography, producing content for his YouTube channel, watching NBA basketball, and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks.

Process:
- Submit items by emailing them to HAPPEN@ofm.wa.gov by Thursday morning for the following week's bulletin.
- Time sensitive items submitted will be reviewed and included in the next bulletin.
- Non-time sensitive submissions will be added to the list to be included in future bulletins when we may be looking for content to share.
- Bulletins will usually be distributed on Mondays. Special bulletins will be sent only as needed to provide an update on something already shared or of an urgent nature.
