Department of Licensing:
"This Bill requires DOL to license commercial interior designers, and amends the State Board of Architects to include registered commercial interior designers, License is to be renewed annually, with penalties for late renewal. Section 7 of this Bill authorized DOL to set licensing fees that cover the cost of administering the program, as required by RCW 43.24.086.
Section 11 establish that violation of chapters or associated rules may incur a civil penalty up to $1,000.
This bill has both known and unknown revenue impacts. While administrative fee recovery is identifiable, any revenue from civil penalties and late renewals are indeterminate; therefore the overall revenue impact is indeterminate."
