UPDATE: The 10 year analysis for HB 2456, titled AN ACT Relating to establishing a juvenile firearm early intervention alternative, has been completed. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Although Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) will oversee the Juvenile Firearm Early Intervention Services accounts established under HB2456, it is unable to estimate the amount of cash receipts that will be collected, as the number of cases requiring the establishment of new accounts cannot be reasonably predicted.
