BRG members: Help guide the state’s commitment to protecting rights and interests of immigrant communities.
Make your voice heard during a virtual listening session Oct. 29!
The Office of Equity is inviting all BRGs to participate in a virtual listening session to provide feedback on Executive Order 25-09, Reaffirming Washington’s Commitment to Protecting the Rights and Interests of Immigrant Communities. Read the full executive order.
Purpose
This listening session is a space for BRG members to share immigration-related concerns and needs with the Governor’s Immigration Subcabinet created by this executive order.
Your feedback will inform the Subcabinet’s priorities and next steps to ensure the safety, security, and rights of all people, including our neighbors in immigrant and refugee, disability, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
Participants will have an opportunity to respond to five key priorities in E0-25-09. The Office of Equity has created a survey in which to review the priorities and provide feedback. View the BRG Listening Session Survey.

- Time sensitive items submitted will be reviewed and included in the next bulletin.
- Non-time sensitive submissions will be added to the list to be included in future bulletins when we may be looking for content to share.
- Bulletins will usually be distributed on Mondays. Special bulletins will be sent only as needed to provide an update on something already shared or of an urgent nature.
