10 Year Analysis Complete for Substitute House Bill 1498.PL - UPDATE

UPDATE: The 10 year analysis for SHB 1498.PL, titled AN ACT Relating to domestic violence co-responder programs, has been completed. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Cash receipts are indeterminate and based on the fees collected by county auditors or recording officers based on the number of marriage licenses filed each year. Per the Marriage and Divorce Data posted by Department of Health there is a three-year average of 41,635 marriages in the state each year. The total amount available for this program is assumed as $4,163,500 (41,635 marriages x $100 fee).
