HB 2156, titled AN ACT Relating to solar consumer protections, has been introduced in the House of Representatives. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

This bill could result in an increase in the number of electrical contractor licenses, but the Department of Labor & Industries has no way to estimate how many additional people would pursue that license.
