We write with an update on the January 2023 OCO Quarterly Public Meetings.

In-Person Community Members: January 26, 2023 4:00 - 5:30 PM

Community members are invited to an in-person, public meeting on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 4-5:30 pm at the Helen Sommers Building (106 11th Ave. SW, Olympia, WA 98501), in the ground-level main conference room. We look forward to sharing information about the good work of the OCO and gathering input on the OCO's activities. Agenda and presentation materials will be distributed at least one week in advance and posted on our website.

Inside Washington Corrections Center: January 6, 2023 

Tomorrow, January 6, 2023, the OCO Staff will deliver our Quarterly Public Meeting inside a DOC facility. We are pleased to meet with a group of stakeholders living at Washington Corrections Center and provide information about our work in the 4th Quarter of 2022. We look forward to directly answering questions and engaging in conversation with representatives of the population living at Washington Corrections Center. In December 2022, in preparation for our in-person meeting, the OCO Staff made weekly visits to WCC to receive complaints and provide self-advocacy information on-site.
