OCO Negotiated Outcomes Report on Mail

Dear Stakeholders:
The Office of the Corrections Ombuds is pleased to publish our Mail: Negotiated Outcomes Report. This report reflects work initiated by current and former OCO staff and the OCO convened Mail Workgroup, which included internal and external stakeholders, including DOC staff responsible for oversight of the mail program, family members and advocates of incarcerated persons, and staff of the OCO.
We look forward to sharing more OCO Negotiated Outcomes and Special Reports with you very soon, as well as, continuing to publish our Monthly Outcome Reports. A copy of this negotiated outcomes report can be found on the OCO website here, attached to this email, and will be distributed throughout the DOC facilities, including in all law libraries. Plus, I forwarded this, and all OCO reports released in 2022, to Securus Technologies with the request to upload to the handbook app on the tablets as soon as possible. I am hopeful that the first upload will be easy and the reports will soon be live on all tablets statewide, and then we will work to make sure all previously released reports are also available.
