SSB 5192, titled AN ACT Relating to supporting access to electric vehicle supply equipment, has been passed by the Senate Committee on Transportation. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection
of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

SB 5192 Section 8 (2) states a reasonable registration fee for electric vehicle supply equipment may be established through rulemaking to cover the costs associated with enforcing this chapter on electric vehicle supply equipment.
