HB 1118, titled AN ACT Relating to the management of certain materials to support recycling and waste and litter reduction, has been introduced in the House of Representatives. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Section 12 allows the Commission to exempt the collection of covered materials from RCW 81.77. If the commission exempts the materials, there is a potential for a reduction in fees. The potential amount is indeterminant until the situation occurs.
