SSB 5033, titled AN ACT Relating to limiting the property tax exemption for improvements to single-family dwellings to the construction of accessory dwelling units, has been passed by the Senate Committee on Housing Stability & Affordability. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.
