Office of the Governor / Office of Financial Management sent this bulletin at 10/14/2020 10:05 AM PDT2020 is the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which guaranteed women the right to vote. To commemorate this, Heritage University in partnership with Women's Commission is bringing a panel of women leaders from across the state for a virtual event that will educate and inspire women in our community.
We’ve come a long way in the 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment. But there is still so much more that needs to be done to build true equality. Please join us for a stimulating discussion by a diverse group of women as we explore how we, as women, can come together to affect change and build opportunities for us all. The event features Regina Malveaux, Director of the Washington State Women’s Commission as a key note speaker and Commissioner Quinn Dalan as a panelist.
Join us on October 14, 2020 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm
