SHB 1124, titled AN ACT Relating to regulating degree-granting institutions not exempt under chapter 28B.85 RCW, private vocational schools not exempt under chapter 28C.10 RCW, schools under chapter 18.16 RCW, and other for-profit schools, for the
purposes of promoting accountability and providing consumer protection to students and the public, has been introduced in the House of Representatives. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased
cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.
