HB 1567, titled AN ACT Relating to the sale and installation of solid fuel burning devices, has been passed by the House Committee on Environment & Energy. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Ten-year projection:

Section 3(2): The solid fuel burning device retail fee is collected by the Department of Revenue into the Woodstove Education and Enforcement Account. There would be no cash receipts impact to Ecology.
