2ESHB 2057, titled AN ACT Relating to the services and processes available when residential real property is abandoned or in foreclosure, has been scheduled for a public hearing by the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions & Insurance.

Date and Time: 02/15/2018 8:30AM (Subject to change by the Legislature.)
Location: J.A. Cherberg Building, Senate Hearing Rm 3, Olympia, WA

The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Ten-year projection:

This bill raises fee due from the beneficiary of a trustee’s sale recorded on residential real property from $250 to $325. The total ten-year cost to fee payers is indeterminate because the number of recordings of notices of trustee’s sales is unpredictable at this time and may fluctuate considerably in the future.

This second engrossed bill is proposed by the House of Representatives.

The substitute bill was proposed by:

House Committee on Judiciary
(360) 786-7122
