In addition to the fee projected above, this bill sets a per trip passenger surcharge fee of ten cents to cover the costs of enforcement and regulation of state Transportation Network Companies licensing and to be distributed to local jurisdictions within the state. The number of rides subject to the surcharge is unknown at this time; therefore, the total ten-year cost to fee payers for this element of the bill is indeterminate.
