SB 5839, titled AN ACT Relating to repealing a tax preference for prescription drug warehousing firms to invest in rural and high-need area opioid use disorder treatment and support infrastructures, has been passed by the Senate Committee on Human Services & Corrections. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.
