Committee Passage Notice for 6009 SSB

SSB 6009, titled AN ACT Relating to personalized collector vehicle license plates, has been passed by the Senate Committee on Transportation. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Ten-year projection:

This bill enables personalization of collector vehicle plates for a one-time fee of $52.00 in addition to all other fees and taxes. It is not known how many registered owners of collector vehicles might opt for license plate personalization; therefore, the total 10-year cost to fee payers is indeterminate.
