SB 6009, titled AN ACT Relating to personalized collector vehicle license plates, has been introduced in the Senate. The Office of Financial Management has identified this bill as requiring a ten-year projection of increased cost to the taxpayers or affected fee payers.

Ten-year projection:

This bill
enables personalization of collector vehicle plates for a one-time fee of $52.00 in addition to all other fees and taxes. It is not known how many registered owners of collector vehicles might opt for license plate personalization; therefore, the total 10-year cost to fee payers is indeterminate.
