Swearing In

Serve WA will be hosting their annual AmeriCorps Swearing-In Ceremony on Friday, Oct. 22 from 12-2pm. This optional event celebrates service and witnesses hundreds of national service members beginning their year of service by taking the AmeriCorps oath.

The agenda includes exciting elements such as a Roll Call of Programs, an Alumni Panel, and a Break-Out Networking Session for members. A keynote address will be delivered by Breauna Dorelus of Connecting the Cause.
Register for this event here!

Planning for virtual service

Even as most of Washington State continues to reopen after nearly 2 years of COVID shutdowns, many of our partners are still inquiring about pursuing virtual service options for members. Additionally, there may be times when COVID exposure will create a need for members to serve remotely for a short period of time so they don’t fall behind on hours.
Because of the continued uncertainty revolving around COVID, we ask that site staff plan ahead for virtual service options for members. As we did last year, please complete our virtual service form and send it to your WSC Coordinator upon completion. If you are a new site or do not have a virtual service form to use from last year, please reach out to us.
