What is the Toxic-Free Cosmetics Act?

The Toxic-Free Cosmetics Act covers all beauty and personal care products manufactured, distributed, and sold in Washington State. Retailers and distributors are responsible for understanding and complying with this law and additional rules. Ecology staff are available to help answer questions and provide technical assistance.

• Our compliance and enforcement process.
• How you can help support compliance through your supply chain.

We’ll also share resources to help with compliance and answer questions.
