Ecology will hold the next online public meetings to provide information about the rulemaking on Air Quality in Overburdened Communities Highly Impacted by Air Pollution on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The agenda will include:
- Recap of discussions from prior meetings
- Presentation on emissions reduction strategies, stricter standards, and issuing orders
- Information on upcoming draft rule language
- General discussion (opportunity to ask questions or provide input)
The morning and evening meeting will cover the same content, so you don’t need to register for both. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

An informal comment period is open, and Ecology welcomes initial comments or input on this rulemaking. Ecology does not provide responses to informal comments; however, all comments will be reviewed and will help shape the development of draft rule language. You may submit your comments online by using the Public Comment Form. Please note that any information you provide may be subject to public disclosure.
