What we can do
Free PFAS testing of home-raised eggs and meat from cattle, swine, chickens, and turkeys. Please contact us about other food items. Space is limited.

- Individual consultation on your test results from DOH, including advice on the safety of eating the meat or eggs and how to reduce your exposure.

To qualify, you must
- Be a West Plains resident with PFAS in your water higher than at least one of these values:
- PFOS: 4.0 ppt
- PFOA: 4.0 ppt
- PFHxS: 10 ppt
- Have used the water to raise animals at home for personal, family, or friend consumption (not commercial production).

If you have not, Ecology urges you to share your results with us, even if PFAS wasn’t detected in your water. The results will help us better understand where PFAS came from and where it is going in the West Plains.
If you want to help but can't find your results, we can work with the EPA, Fairchild Air Force Base, or Dr. Pritchard to locate them.

How to request bottled water or a countertop filter
If your results show PFAS concentrations above safe drinking water standards, you can request no-cost bottled water or a countertop filter to ensure you have safe drinking and cooking water. The bottled water will be delivered every two weeks.
When you submit your sample results to Ecology, please include the necessary information to set up your bottled water delivery:
- How many people live in the household
- Contact person
- Phone number
- Delivery address
