The Department of Social and Health Services’ Home and Community Living Administration is seeking feedback on use of Social Leave* for Medicaid clients who live in Adult Family Homes.
*Social Leave is defined as planned overnight leave from an Adult Family Home for recreational or socialization reasons. This does not include leave for medical, therapeutic, or recovery needs or incarceration.
These sessions are required through the Social Leave Memorandum of Understanding between Washington State & the AFH Council in the 25-27 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
