Effective May 1, 2025, Developmental Disabilities Administration moved under Home and Community Living Administration. The former Developmental Disabilities Administration is known as Developmental Disabilities Community Service Division within the Home and Community Living Administration.
The following rulemaking notices have been filed with the Office of the Code Reviser and will appear in the Washington State Register.
Preproposal statement of inquiry (CR-101)
WSR 25-22-014 for Chapter 388-101D WAC and WAC 388-101-3000
DDCS is planning to amend chapter 388-101D WAC and WAC 388-101-3000 to update and clarify administrative and program requirements. During the course of this review, the department may make additional changes that are necessary to improve clarity or update policy. This is the second filing of the CR-101 for this project. The first filing did not meet required statutory requirements and has subsequently been withdrawn (WSR 25-21-074).
Proposed Rulemaking (CR-102)
WSR 25-21-123 for WAC 388-845-0900, 388-845-0910, 388-845-2370 and 388-845-4005
DDCS is enacting these changes to clarify waiver service definitions and service limit language across waivers.
