Functional Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plan Training Opportunities
Dear Providers:
DDCS (formerly DDA) recently updated Policy 5.21: Functional Assessments and Positive Behavior Support Plans, effective July 1, 2025.
Providers are strongly encouraged to participate in training opportunities listed below.
Please refer to this previous message for a schedule of webinars covering multiple policy updates. The webinars are recommended for provider administrators, managers, and employees who review FA/PBSPS.
Plan writers should sign up for the two-day FA/PBSP training. The current list of available dates can be found here. Note: These trainings reflect the policy changes that took effect July 1.
If you are a provider plan writer who has completed the updated training within the past year, you do not need to retake the two-day training.
